LOL, perhaps...Or the fact that I have rarely owned junk amps might have helped a little. I tried to run a Hifonics Titan at 2ohm bridged and it would cut out after about 10 minutes, and it ended up melting the RCA input heads. lol good times

I try to make a point of not exploring the limits of what my amps can and cannot do.

It was well known that the older Fosgate amps would run at 2 ohms bridged. If you want something that you know will run at 2 ohms mono, buy an amp rated for it. There are plenty of non-junk amps that won't run at 2 ohms mono. There used to be amps that wouldn't do 2 ohms stereo or 4 ohms bridged. They were actually fantastic amps they just weren't meant to run a low impedance.
