Best place to get a yellow top

So.....i walked into Advanced Auto Parts and they're selling one for 190.00 if i turn in my old battery with a 2 year warranty. Im wondering if a yellow top is even the way i should go too.

My system will have 3 amps:

1500+ watts sub amp

400 + watts for front stage

2 - 300 watts or rear stage

At this point i get dimming with only 2 amps, and the 3rd amp will make it worse im sure.

I have the big 3 upgrade with 1/0 wiring already

HO Alternator is gonna run me about 400.00 and i'd really rather not go that route if i can get by without it.

What would you guys do if you were me. And if you think a yellow top would do me good, where is the best place to get one with warranty @ a good price.

I would do an array of Batcap 400's (two maybe). They would get rid of your dim most definately.

As for the battery, the stock Altima battery is actually better than the Red Top. I ran the Red for a few weeks and chucked it when I started having electrical problems. I put my stock battery back and havent had any problems. I dont know about the Yellow.....

im not familiar with that brand. group 31 is the case size. optima has a g31, kinetik has 2400, oddyssey has 2150, nsb has 3100, deka intimidator......specs that are helpful as a whole are cranking amps (for burps and loudest playing) capacity (amp hours) tells you how long it can do curtain duties) .....

im leaning towards that kinetic 2400 right now.

I might not know what im talking about whatsoever but from comparing some specs i saw, it seems that its 2 -2.5 times more powerful than the basic optima red tops. Would that be fair to say??

Also, whats the expected useful life on these things??

the kinetik has more capacity (stays more consistant longer in between charges) than an optima.
