best place to buy optima yellow top?

alright for a lil update i bought a red top today. found it at sam's club for $139 so i bought. pretty good deal.
thats funny because i was actually going to suggest buying one from there.

I have a red top up front and a yellow top in the rear of my car. The red has been in this vehicle since i bought in 05 and the yellow since we will say august and have had no problems thus far

ya i totally forgot about sams club. i went with my dad to buy some stuff and as we walked in the tire and battery center had them displayed out and im looked and the price was good so i picked it up. i was going to go with the yellow but figured this would be good for starting and i got a kinetik to put in the trunk anyways so i think i shuld be good. anything better then the batt i have now.

I have gone through 2 yellow tops with the same problems and two different vehicles. I called the company and they explained the problem. Yellowtops are great for accessories that run down the battery and then charged right up. I had a vehicle that I did not drive very often and so after two weeks or so the battery would go down due to small drain on battery....vehicle security system or some other draw. Anyway if the battery sits below a certain voltage for a while it messes with the cells......and eventually a cell will go bad and battery will not keep a charge. Make sure you you keep the battery charged right up and drive the vehicle often.

A Red top is a great choice for a system the runs when the vehicle is running.....

By the way......if you have a friend that works for Johnson Controls, they can get the battery for about $70 with shipping.

all right thanks for the heads up. ya its my daily driver. so it will be driven 2 or 3 times a day so hopefully it will stay fully charged and have no problems with it. that is why i decided to go with a local place so if i run in to problems i will be able to warranty it.
