2 amps to 1 sub

How would I go about wiring two amps to a single sub?? Is it as simple as one amp to each vc?

I was gonna try it and see wht the difference was on my se15. I only have a jl 500/1 on it and my brother has a memphis 500 and i wanted to see what it could do with 1k rms

strap the amps if they are strappable

no do not do that if they are different amps

idk,but to me it would seem the vc's would be out of sink with one another causing damage
