best place to buy optima yellow top?

im about to buy a yellow top. so im wondering if you guys think i should buy somewhere local were id get a warranty? or for cheaper online buy i'm guess no warranty or anything? I obviously want it to last a while, but it seems like i always read about people saying how there optima did not last them or it died on them and shit. and now im second guessing it. so any thoughts?

Im gonna grab some of those bigass $60 batteries from walmart when im ready to get them. 1000 CCA and 2 year warranty. I know optima's better but hell.

never had a problem with mine. i just picked up a 2nd for $100 from slapmaster here locally

that's good to hear. im going to be using it up front with a kinetik 1800 in the trunk. going to use the top terminals for my audio and leave the side terminal with the stock wiring.

34. i thought the yellow top is better if running extra stuff? would red top be better in this case?

idk. i hear the reds are good for starters, and yellows for accys. i run exide out front so idk really.

i know if i disconnect my front battery i can still start the car from the YT g31 in the trunk. so i'm sure it would work

Spend a few bucks more and buy local. It is well worth it if you ever have to use the warranty. Just an FYI, if you use a Yellow Top in a vehicle that has car audio, they limit the warranty to 1 year. Just so you are aware.
