Best place for an amp?

just put it on the **** floor or mounted against something other than the sub box or sub..

it just needs to get air circulation and you don't want it getting hit obviously

if you are feeling extra good, build an amp rack

Uh, yes vibration is bad for an amp. People have done it and had no problems but that doesnt mean i would try it. Stuff gets knocked loose in there and burns them up..

with the amp rack being a seperate piece that i havent mounted to the box yet, would it maybe a good idea to put some rubber inbetween the box and amp rack at the contact points?

I've noticed tons and tons of people run thier amps mounted to their sub box..

Bolted to the floor, back seats or making a rack are the best options.
