Best Mp3 cd player??

i'm debating on which mp3 cd deck to buy, I currently have a JVC sh707 in my car i'm selling. For my next vehicle I was thinking between an alpine 9815 and a pioneer 8400. both decks got good reviews on web sites, but which one is better. btw, I am going to be pushing 2 15" mtx 6000s

Alpine headunit is better I would say but most of the time more expensive so if you have the money and think it's worth it I should go for the Alpine headunit.

I've got a pioneer headunit but that has more to do with a defect last unit (also pioneer within 1 1/2 year) and to little cash for a good new one so bought one with reasonable quality for as less cash as I could find.

Barring any price differences the Alpine is a better unit. Don't have your blinders on to other manufacturers. Panasonic, Clarion, Kenwood, Sony, etc. all make pretty decent MP3 playing HU's.

Eclipse has 2 mp3 decks. They are priced at $199 and $249. Eclipse makes excellent sounding decks.

Well, they are brand new this year. I have run eclipse decks for years(and haven't heard a better sounding line of decks yet). A guy on sound domain had an alpine 7894 and swapped it out for the 3413 and noticed quite an improvement in sound. He also said there weren't any annoying pauses between mp3s either. They might be worth looking into(I am getting an eclipse cd8053 as soon as it hits the shop).

i have also run eclipse decks for a long time. i just bought the 5433 in feburary and i love it. sound quality is awesome and this one has 5 volt out puts, the 8063 has 8 volt. my old 8062 had 8 volt and my new one sounds every bit as good.
