Note that this is to be run IB and limited to 6.5 and 7", which would you choose:

a) Dynaudio MW160

b) Dynaudio MW170

c) Scan Speak Rev 7"

d) IDQ

e) Adire Kodas

f) Focal 6w2 / 7w2

g) DLS Iridium

h) Others, pls mention.

Note = The midbass will be run in a 3way configuration and will be playing 60hz-315hz and will be powered by an audison vrx2.250.ex.2 (160wx2)

What's the rest of your setup consist of??

****, the extremis needs quite the mounting depth too.
looks like the Koda is a more suitable choice for me so far.
I was going to use the Extremis as well, but since it was 8ohm...and my tweeters are 6ohm...I'd be looking at an odd amplifier...or TWO amplifiers...

OH, and for your xxx6.5's.....FIBERGLASS!!!!!!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Mine are on the way...will be here thrusday hopefully...

NG

I'd love to fiberglass them in the kicks but then again, and you will see when you get your, they are huge and every time I push the clutch in I would be kicking them.

and I am not about to cut my door panel. I am trying to keep the car as original as possible.

I am going to glass my Hex mid in the kicks and a midbass driver in the door.

squeak - hiquphon tweets/seas lotus mids and midbass/JL12W7sub powered by audison vrx4.300.ex.2/vrx2.250.ex.2/JL1000.1. signal comes from an alpine iva-d300+h701. wires are transparent cable/kimber cable plus batcap.

i think you would be more than happy with the kodas. i currently run my koda 6's in a passive 3 way setup crossed at 55hrz and they sound great. i get complaments on my "system" everytime someone rides with me. and for the money they are really hard to beat.

no i havent heard eather personally. but i do hear nothing but great things about them. if all else just remember that it dosent matter what speaker you have, it always comes down to the install of it.

with that said everyone hear has offered up great speakers. choose the one that best fits your pocket and "taste" i guess. i really dont think you can go wrong with anyone of them.
