Best mid-bass speakers you know of??

ok you expert audio junkies on here i need your help. my midbass speakers got a clipped signal and pop now so i need new ones. what are some really really good 6.5" midbass speakers that you guys can recommend?? price is no object seeing as how it wont be for like 2 months that i get them and my new job is 1000 a month so i'll have money seeing as how i live at home. thanks in advance.

if going w/ focals(i love mine) and money no object definitely get the polykevlar or utopia.(i have the polyglas)

cdt is sweet, and close to the same price range as focal

diamond is sweet as well..again on the price range

What are you looking for in a midbass , I know it sounds stupid but some have alot more IMPACT than others , And some are much smoother than others I like the CDT HD mids the best out of the Euros , Kodas or Poly kevlar Focals , They really have a nice punch to them Snares and mid drums hit you hard where the others just seemed to laid back in that range (you know midbass) but would act like subwoofers instead with no impact ! My Pennies !

its not stupid..it's true. weak midbass will make bass sound "slow".

now this might be a stupid question, but i wanna know what the differece between component speakers, midbass speakers, and full range speakers are...

i want really solid midbass. i know people say MB's but my canton's are the exact same midbass as the Q series MB speakers so those are out. i want something with more punch then the canton's i love the 1" silk dome tweets though can't go wrong there. also these are just the mid-bass speakers right not the componets?? i know the koda's come with just the mid-bass but what about the rest?? i will prolly never change my tweets until they blow which shoulnd't happen.
