I have been trying to buy one of those for years now and every time I track them down I can never catch the owners in the right mood... I have been so close about 3 times thoughHard to choose. I like both utilitarian and exotic looking drivers.
Why don't you just buy a 4hp neo motor and build your own? I saw 1 or 2 on here about a month ago I believe.
Those are 3hp Neos and I already have a 4hp neo prototype but that particular driver is one of 5 ever made so thats why I want one...

I am going to build my Neo motor at some point but those drivers caught my attentions couple years ago since they where the only 5 12's built... The parts are pretty much impossible to find too...
When things are that rare the owners turn into real assfucks. It will cost more than an arm and a leg to get that. I hope you do find one for a reasonable price.
Last time one of the matching pairs went on here for 900... I caught the owner of the other pair on Caco when he was in a jam but by the time I got the money together he decided he would rather try to keep them... He sold the oddball 5th off and I havent found it yet...
Did you ever pm him asking who he sold it to? Tracking that down sounds like a nightmare.
I wish I didn't have to sell that pair but at the time I was desperate for money. I think I was pretty fair about the price, I let them go for less than I paid. Something like $700 shipped for the pair and they were absolutely flawless (with polished motors!). When something is that rare, you can almost name your price if others want it bad enough.
