once you get to the 605, sony h/u's are just about the best for the money out there. until you get to the screen, then you have issues...

we install 4 sony's to every clarion, panasonic and pioneer (well, we only carry the avics') and the sony's are the only ones that don't come back, save the higher end clarions.

the sony with the gig of memory is jsut that...it has a usb slot on the faceplate so that one can download music, screensavers or whatever, IIRC. i'll look tomorrow at the one in the board.

and avics can indeed be made to play video while driving, but you have to void the warranty to do so.
