well im a college student and i really dont know which laptop i should get...everytime i find one that suites my needs (usual student's needs) i end up seeing a sh!tload of bad reviews...so im just stumped on wat to get

build one, or customize from a place like dell or HP for the easy route

i know its not the best forum but i have been able to get help with stuff like this on here sometimes...

16" max - 14" min

preferably core 2 duo

4gigs ram

would be nice to have dedicated graphics...

HD isnt really an issue since i plan on storing most multimedia files on an external HD

well the dell seems nice but i was just reading that some users seem to have a cd drive glitch on their system..

now reliability is essential...

i was looking at these 2 but both have some bad reviews...

the asus is sweet but alot of ppl review it to being of low quality and having internet issues...but i have my eye set on it
