Ok, i have my Orion 2500d on the way, and now i need ideas for subs. I have no idea what kinda room i have to play with in my truck, but i know there are guys on here with Explorers, that can guide me with that. I have been reding so many threads on this forum, til i get headaches. 1st off, im not lookin to blow out my windows, im not going to be in any comps, but i do want to shake the ground at low volume. I have been reading about the "PORT vs SEALED" still dont know wich way to go. I have an idea for some subs, i like the TYPE R's. L7's, Cw12's if i can find them, i saw others, but cant afford that high end stuff after doing my elec system. So I ask you sound GURU's, do me a favor and cyber pimp my ride with the info i have given you. Tell me what works!!

I just built a setup for my explorer like last week. Two 15" Type-R's in a 8 cubic foot enclosure. Each sub has its own 4 cubes @ 33hz, and they are built into one large enclosure. Just waiting on warranty info to get my new amp. I got sent a faulty one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Anyways yeah, that 8 cubic foot box goes wheelwell to wheelwell, from the back seats to about 6 or so inches from the rear hatch, and is just about level with the rear seat/windows.
