tthat eclipse HU is so outdated like u said its last years model... p8mp is 1 of the best HU out there for htat price

but u cant get that for 300$ i doubt....

theyre on ebay for $350, and im pretty sure i could find one for a lil cheaper than that. Have you tested/seen any of these headunits for yourself? or are you just making assumptions?

can anyone else help me out? Is the 9855 same as 9835 other than glide touch? I might drive over to BB and test it out. How is the 960? How are the displays on these decks?

9835 is a lot better talked than 9855... it seems alpine has crapped out their HU's this year to offer best bang per buck leaving behind sound quality and other matters

if you can't get a 9835 i advize you getting a 7998, i heard also good thigns about it except for its reliability regarding the motorized front panel

dude if you want a good head unit gte a cda 9835 or a cda 7998 you can probably pick one up around 325
