Forget the e-tailers. Buy a Eclipse CD5415 / CD5425 or a stretch to the CD5435 from an authorized dealer. (not sure about US pricing, 3.5max6spd can fill this in for you) Eclipse is a simple easy to use very very good sq cd player. It is not designed to be a light show or have some dude snowboarding across the screen, just good sound and the best warranty there is.

I just put in the 8455....the display is NOT what you see on the eclipse site pics(race car or what not-its not even a preset graphic)- you can download whatever you want onto the screen, or chose to not have graphics at all- the format is very simple as last years line when playing CD's or radio, and the screen much bigger, the data much brighter and fluid, Its actually at the same level of the Alpine 9835/9855 format- Although the rotary knobs aren't rubber tipped, the new knobs are much more responsive volumewise and accurate-its a sick deck- and the 10band parametric is awesome. It gets my 2 thumbs up, improvement on last years great line IMO
