Best for minimizing trunk lid rattle?

I was thinking about doing the expanding foam idea, I think that would really work with my trunk. Today I just put approx 3/4 gallon of V3 in my trunk and rear deck. I am hoping to see some more impovement in SQ.

I was also thinking about getting some cheap foam from lowes and using that as a barrier between the inner and outer part of my trunk

Foam works great. I shoot it through all the cavities but leave all wiring still visible. I also seal all the bracing seams with windsheild glue. I did a install in a 88 celica convertible that blew all the seems on the trunk bracing so everytime the bass hit the sheet metal would pop about a 1/4". It could send a quarter about a foot off of the car, it was funny.

buy some roadkill mat. and cut strips of it to fit between the sheet metal and bracing on your trunk lid. then spray or "brush" liquid deadener over it. put matting on the back of your lisence plate and bolt the lisence plate down too.
