I live in Ada. I work in johnston and marshal county in the Lake Texoma area. The lake is fun in the summer.

Have you ever been to turner falls in oklahoma? Well i decided it would be fun to goto a lake,execpt for the fact the water was so dirty and they had signs that read"Swim at your own risk" not because of snakes or anything but because of what you could catch in the water i mean the lakes were dirty in oklahoma. I haven't been to lake texoma but i just hope its nothing like hefner lake or turner falls is it clean phoneman? You should visit the beaches down here in the south, that was the only bad thing about OK was all they had was man made lakes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Its been a long time since I went to turner falls and I cant remember it much. Broken Bow lake is really nice and very clear. Lake Texoma can be very red at times and clear at other times just depending on the weather and the cycle of the lake. Its a big lake with a lot of resort areas with nice big houses and big boats.

I like the land around here and the rural atmosphere. Oklahoma has pretty good gun laws compared to most states which means a lot to me and the cost of living is very reasonable in my area. Those are some of the important things to me that keeps me here.

I need to take a trip south but just dont ever have the time. Whats the weather like compared to Oklahoma weather?

Well its more humid which is a bad thing,it can be 70 degrees outside but if the humid is around 90% then you will be soaked in sweat even with a cool breeze. During hurricane season it seems to rain alot(Which June-Sept is hurricane season) but the good thing is that it will rain in the morning and have a thunder/lighting storm then 2 hours later be 90 degrees outside and perfect for going to the beach. It changes just as much as oklahoma does the only difference is that oklahoma has very harsh winters like ice storms,when down here we goto the beach till the end of sept. Overall i do like mobiles weather better then oklahoma's.

Yeah I would say Oklahomas weather goes from one extreme to the other and is very unpredictable. Like early this spring I remember we had some very nice warm 70- 80 degree weather for like a week and then a freeze the next week with a little snow. It just rapidly changed in 1 day
