Best DSP for under $300

Looking to run my c2-650 component set active, they are running off a jd400/4 with a pair of coax c2-650 and a w3-12in sub in the trunk powered on a jd 1000/1 . Also have a pioneer avh 1330nex head unit.I want to get a dsp so I can run my components active and make the most out of my current system. Not looking for a top of the line dsp pretty much any under 300$ that has the output/input channels I would need and one that isn’t incredibly hard to tune properly. Don’t know too much about dsp brands other than audiocontrol and helix but I’m not trying to spend upwards 1000$+ on a top of the line dsp with professional tune. Any recommendations or experience with “budget” dsp’ ?

I don’t have any personal experience with it yet, but the ‘go to’ around here is the Dayton dsp-408.

Rockford Fosgates 360 dsp is around 300-350 iirc. I got lucky and picked up a V1 Helix for 120 shipped on DIYMA. I would check there always DSP's for sale there and they range in the lower end ones to the upper end Helix/Audison's.

I know that you said under $300 but if you can get up to $499, you could get a MiniDSP 8X12v2.0. I've got one and I love mine. It gives me the ability to add DiracLive at a later time when desired.

The Dayton is your best bet. I'm old and it confused the shitt out of me and I bailed on it too fast.
