Best deck for 300 and under at 4v?

Having said that....if you weren't having noise problems before using a head unit with 'lower' preout voltage (such as 2v or lower) then going to a deck with higher preout voltage won't give you any appreciable advantages.
False.

Eclipse 8455 or 8454 are probably the two 'best' decks that can be had AROUND your price range. However if you have to have a detachable face, they are not any good to you any how.

Thanks for the respones guys. I might check into the Pioneer 880, just cause I always have liked how easy Pioneers are to use. Having said that though, I am not sure how easy the 880 will be to use. I mean I am sure I could figure it out. Thanks again.

Youll get adjusted to it.

Where the hell is canfield? If you want to check out a 880, youre welcome to mess around with mine.

Sort of a try before you buy thing.

Then explain to me what advantage would be gained (assuming there were no noise problems previously) by going to a deck with higher preout voltage?

i doubt you'll notice a difference going from a 2 volt to a 4 volt. if you have noise issues check your install. also don't forget that these decks don't put out 4 volts continuously while playing music

with that said, if you feel the need for a new deck i suggest an alpine 9835 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I went from a 2v pioneer 6700mp to the new Pioneer DEH 8600mp 4v pre-out. Man it made a big diffrence, Like night and day. Much more power and SQ and multi-color display 13 band eq. Basically overall badazz HU. Very nice looking as well. I got it for $300. Worth every penny.

I know Pioneer is'nt the best out there but I stuck with Pioneer because I have the Pioneer XM receiver. I can't live without my XM radio.
