did a 144.4 usaci outlaw style with a s18x and an orion 2500d.....box impedence kicked my ***...that was done off 1700wrms...(though wired for .5ohm nominal) box is also tuned low (for a s18x) and built for daily....all in all, that score is ok (sucks actually..lol...new TL mic, mic in kick, drivers door open)

vehicle sucks as well (for getting loud and no wall)....full size extended cab truck. oh well, different box placement now as well as an amp designed to do it'power at 2 ohm...no mic time as of yet..

kicker has done better then a 150 with an 8L7....extended cab s10, wall and big power...lol..

wow, my friend only hit 137 with 2 15" L7's... how high couldhe get with a bigger amp than his 1000 wat kenwood? and what should he get?

It's not so much power as it is the box. Well, okay....the power has a little to do with it. But the main factor in getting a good score is the box and having adequate power for the box.

So, he should look into redesigning his enclosure before he looks into a new amp.

so long as its not powered off the head unit... 137 can definitely be upped with a better box.

yeah, yeah..lol..i had to mention it..lol..

using a not real efficient sub+ wrong vehicle for spl+box impedence rise+wrong enclosure for that setup= fairly low score for such a big sub...lol..
