Best Coxial Speakers?

either the polk momo coaxials, diamond d3's, or the pioneer tsd-??? the rev series with the yellow cones. the pioneers will be louder though. and for a smoother sounding speaker with more mid-bass, the zapco iforce coaxial is a good option as well. those would be my top four.

which ones do you like? whatever ones you decide on you should try to find a pair to listen to them.

Psh, at least I won't have to change my name...

You wouldn't have a problem fitting the D661i in your door due to the factory grill, but they are quite deep that is the only problem I have encountered with them so far. IMO they are a lot better then the REV 6.5s.

the sound a little better, but cant even come close to keeping up loudness wise. they revs will get louder and sound better at higher volumes.

-I also like the D661i, they sound really nice, and I wasn't that impressed with the Rev Pioneers myself (5x8/6x8) I had them in my tacoma and as rear fill in my current car until I recognized the evil inherent to rear fill. I have had MB Quart coaxes and as long as you don't mind a bright tweeter they sound very good too. That's my only issue with quarts and Focals, some of those tweeters will saw your ear off, but a bright tweeter may be advantageous low in the door of a pickup.

id personally make an adaptor for your truck (i have a ranger too) and i put 5.25 alpine type s in the doors insted of the 6x8s and it improved SQ ALOT...just my .02

thats what i was planning on doing if i didnt get a set of 6x8's bu ti was going to get a 6.5" instead of the 5 1/4

yeah you have to cut the door though...i tried to fit 6.5s but it was way to small for it, my g/f has some infinty kappa 6x8s in her ranger though and they sound really good too....it just depends on what you get i guess
