Best computer speaker systems?

Also put a nice sound card into your PC, they make quite a difference and have some nice EQing when you start getting into the nice cards. I would look at the x-Fi sound cards by Creative.

well not really HT but something for frat parties that got low. was going to power it with 2 ep2400's
They wouldn't get as low in home as they do in car. They would still be loud if given enough power but not the best to get low in home. So many other choices that would be better. Not that you couldn't technically use a BTL, its just that there are plenty better options for that application.

I would check out Cambridge Soundworks. I use them and everyone i have recommended them to loves them. Also a local radio station by me uses Cambridge and the guy said they were awesome and he wouldn't be able to listen to music all day without them.

they sell those in my bookstore, they dont really sound too great for me. I dont know maybe im just biased twards logitech since their too **** cheap.
When I bought them they were $300 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

And they sound great, they just aren't "SQ" speakers by a long shot. The bass response is greatly exaggerated on these speakers.

Haha, I was planning on making an exact thread like this. I whant to buy a good computer system too with some killer bass. Anyone recommend any? Links to were to buy them please.

The Klipsch ProMedia speakers are great, but be informed that the BASH amplifier WILL GO OUT. Haha, it is such a common problem it is ridiculous. I think there's even been a few people posting on here about the BASH amplifier going out on them a few times. (Yes, this thread has been done before, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif)

Klipsch Customer Service is pretty decent, and they know about the problem so it's easy to get them to send you a replacement, but, it's a hassle.

EDIT : The Logitech Z-5500 also has Optical input, Klipsch's don't. Some people prefer to use optical inputs, personally I'm fine with analog ones though.
