Best Comps...Period!!! Need Help

I would take a set of $200 CDTs over any JL component. I've heard them all side by side in the same car, and no comparison.

You have heard the new JL zr's. How did they sound? I agree that the CDT's crush anything out by JL now, but I have heard good things about the ZR's.

Yo speedycoupe, I took a good look at those Rainbows, and the stats are good. On the outside.. do they have any spec sheets? or do they stand up to speculation? Ive heard nothing but good things so far..

And I cant seem to find any retailers..

he may be reffering to the vr/xr's....yes they are not yet -the zr's are supposed to be high grade

Thezeb.com has some good deals on some of the CDT's and not so good deals on some other cdt's.

I just installed MB QUart PCE-216's and I'm powering them with a JL Audio 300.2. I got to listen to my installer's car with Focal Utopias and the same amp - we both agreed that the MB Quarts sounded better - and my quarts aren't even the Q series, the PCE's are the next step down from the Q series. I paid $300 for them - had to talk the local shop down from the retail price of $499. I've seen them on ebay for $250 plus shipping, but I thought it was worth another $30 for the warranty.

I know your prolly just posting this for reference of pricing, but theyre not a dealer, and havent been for quite some time. Arc cut them off when they still had charge of distribution for doing online sales and getting caught.
