Best Components?

You can't go wrong with either. The Focal's or Rainbows would each be great choices. I'm a Rainbow guy myself, but I originally was opting for Focal Polyglass V2's for my new car. Took a leap for the Rainbows and now am going to install CMX's in the new CR-V, since the SLC's my other CR-V sound sweet, the CMX's should kick even more ***.

Can anyone compare the RSD's to the Focal 165V2"s?
I sampled the Access line as well as the V1 at the local Car Toys here in town. They were running a PDX 4.150 and both the access and the entry level polyglass sounded like *** when the bass hit. The V2's took it pretty good but the entry level KP's took it even better but those are tight at $400 a pair and the RSD's are what, $87?

Yeah thats kinda the direction im leaning towards because its the only set ive been able to hear in person

I am putting my money on the new xs65 set from image dynamics, so much so I am purchasing a set //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They worked there rear off to make one hell of a component set and the mid / midbass drivers looks to be the hot shit. Tweet is still an oddity to me about going slightly over 1" in size but time will tell. Only set I have been impressed by on paper so far under $500... Last 4-5 comp sets I purchased went to the ebay gods if that says anything hahaha.

Also in locals cars, I have heard cadence, seas lotus, boston acoustic 3 way, CDT and some others recently, random entries from each companies model line up. None impressed me at all except the cadence *LOL* that little set was quite impressive. I also heard a set in Acids car long ago, they were very nice as well. My old auras kicked the snot out of all of them which is why I have them so long, and they all wanted to buy my auras after a listen, especially in my tC, but mine are getting old, showing there age and no longer produced, have to find somthing to move on to.

The auras always struggled in midbass, lowest I could go without killing them was around 55hz @ 18db/oct. 24-30db/oct & crossing lower just did not blend right. Were the auras left off, The ID's should shine. Time will tell.
