But they can only take 70 watts per side and my amp puts out about 120 per side....I don't want to blow them if i just keep the gain at 1/4 turned up will I be safe?

so do I right off livingston.. I am on livingston past 275 past all the hood rats....

the DD tweets won't touch the ID horns...but the midbass from the mids is awesome and everybit as good as the ID's....The tweeters sound very nice as well...comparable to many higher priced componets...The DD set sells for about $150.00 the set I'm refering to...I have ran the set for the longest time now in my Wrangler and i get no complaints from anyone who listens...my set is ran active....... atm

Tried the xs series mids? if so then I might swap to dd mids and the keep the id tweets.
