Smooth and natural? That has DynAudio written all over it. May be out of your budget, however.

You can get some pretty decent sets from DLS on the low, and they will certainly be more laid back.

I currently have the Focal 165 K2P's in the front and Focal 165 VR's in the back. They are good speakers very detailed but they are harsh & hard to tune. They are either too harsh or too neutral by neutral I mean the sound becomes hollow. Im looking for speakers that sound very natural and smooth that don't hurt the ears and dont cause fatigue. What do you guys recommend? Ive heard the HERTZ MLK 165's and wasnt impressed. Ive been considering the polk sr6500's what do you guys think?

Where did you have the tweets set on the focals? I am waiting for new RCA cables to run my full system but last night I played my K2P's I just got at -3 DP and they are not harsh at all but kick total ***? Thats why I am asking?????

where did you hear the MLK's at?

they could of had the small chamber cup on the tweeter, i love the smoothness on my MLK 2s, not 1 bit harsh, and im picky on harshness

Boston pro se , or the spz. My cousin has pros in his car, and he came from k2p and really likes the pro. They aren't as detailed in some areas.However they sound warmer

I second that. My Pro 60's were very bright and fatiguing.

I doubt you would try these, but I will suggest anyway. DDA W high end comp set. I have heard EXCELLENT reviews. The tweeter is on par with Dynaudio! They are very detailed and get very loud too.

I have some on the way. I will give a good review later, running active.
