i believe it doesn't. i think only one model of the kenwoods have 3 way capability. not sure which one as i'm not really familar with kenwood HUs.

yah I'm kinda sick of kenwoods but there is no way I could afford another HU right now... I did see an indash arc xover (IDX3) at ECA for 100... maybe I can work him down and sell myself on the street to buy it

if you can, maybe sell that kenwood and get the prs 880. very cheap and the features to seem very solid for any setup, active or passive.

that arc xover would work fine. looks like it is a 3 way xover. should work good. especially if its an indash xover.

?? I have no idea... I suppose I don't NEEEED an external active xover (not sure) but I'd like one since it's a pain to get at my amps to tune the xover points...

which picture did you look at though? On the rainbow website if you just click the link on the left for the Germainums I dont' think that's really a photo of them. If you click the links on the right after the Germainum information is up there is different pictures. I think those are the real ones. They look much more durable than the regular picture of them that comes up.
Can anyone verify this, however, I've never actually seen them.

i don't know of any 5 channel amps that can bandpass. the only amp off the top of my head that can bandpass is the zapco reference 650.6. i'm sure there is more, but there aren't many amps out that can bandpass.
