Well I finally have the cash on hand and I want to buy some rainbow germaniums from 6spdcoupe but before I pull the trigger I'd like to hear what other comp sets are a great deal under $500.... new or used... power is not an issue since I'll have the cash for an amp...

Speaking of ECA I love how they snapped up my Zapco and IDW's in under 24 hours at full price and volunteered to pay PP fees... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif not a single lowball... of course I usually sell my used equipment at a good price because I'm a deal hunter and get good deals when I buy stuff

i honestly have no clue which one would be better as i haven't heard the germaniums. i have the lotus set and couldn't be happier.

I imagine both would make me happy... I also imagine I'd end up being a crackhead and swapping out either set for the other b/c I wouldn't be able to be comfortable with one till I've tried both....

neither did my old Adire audio Shiva but it ate subs it's price alive

So far, I absolutely love the Focal K2Ps, have yet to hear the Seas Lotus Refs though my buddy is going to be installing his soon and he's going to let me listen to them. Been also looking at Rainbows but I don't know which one is good.

I kinda miss my Aura MR62s from back then. Those were pretty dang nice and a fraction of $500.
