i'd go with something like an AC 24xs. 2-way active, 24db per slope and on ebay can be had for, around 130 bucks. other than that maybe a us amps crossover they seem to be solid.

probably the preferred method is getting an hu with 3 way capability.

don't worry i lose sleep thinking of numerous setups. lol.

honestly, if a crossover does what you want it to, that's all you need. then again, with high end comps like lotus ref's, you better not let us all down with lanzar crossover lol.

nah don't even worry about the tweet not getting enough power. tweets are very efficient speakers. honestly, tweets don't need more than 25 watts of power.

i'm running my set off of my usamps 5600x which is rated at 75 x 4 @ 4 ohm. my refs sound really really good off of that power. but i'm anal and want more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. my next set of amps, hopefully i'll be feeding the mids 150+.

I would down the road... I'm really pushing the budget to the limit.... btw: do you know if kenwoods do active xovers?

i believe it doesn't. i think only one model of the kenwoods have 3 way capability. not sure which one as i'm not really familar with kenwood HUs.
