I am gonna have to say the CVR's.

Pioneer their cheap sub are hard to beat, CVR's are they near competitor, i had both and i preffer the Pioneer it sounds nice but kicker was a little louder.

pioneer sucks compared to kicker. Pioneers higher end subs are nice subs but the lower end doesnt even compete with the kickers. Get the cvrs and port them *****s, it will get semi-loud.

I have a single CVR in a ported box and it gets loud, much louder then I expected. I am going to be upgrading to a pair sometime this summer but yeah I would say go with a pair of CVRs and a 600-700 watt amp to go along with them

I have 4 Powerbass 12's, and they are pretty good. You can get them on millionbuy pretty cheap.

I say low end kickers have best bang for buck, but if you want to go ULTRA cheap, then the hifonics low end isnt bad either.
