I sprayed this

Dupli-Color :: Truck Spatter Paint

on my box, stright to the MDF

still stuck to the box and no chipping or pealing

you can get it with green,white, and I think blue mixed in

I used an oil based primer so the MDF wouldnt soak up the water based stuff and make it swell and whatnot, then just put a black oil based epoxy paint (i think it was garage floor coating) on top of that because I had it lying around.

bedliner paint looks good...also fleckstone looks pretty good...it was very popular back in th' day

That duplicolor stuff looks good.

Ive never heard of spatter spray before I dont think its in my area, I wonder how strong and expensive it is, and if its reasonable to cover a box with it

SEM makes all kinds of great products, and cheap if you know where to look.

might have to try that stuff instead of carpet. anyone know how far a can will go? my build will be around 7cube

I did 3 pretty massive boxes with 1 gallon. You can get it at walmart. i dont know where you can get smaller then a gallon. its about 40 bucks

its like 5-6 bucks a can and two cans was enough for 2 passes.

The box is 2 cubes

it comes in a spray paint can
