best buy

Well one thing i do know there is some truth to is, you can get some stuff that is not sold in the stores. Only thing it cant come from just any company you cant get a discount from RE or FI. What u can do is order stuff from the supplier's that BB has and get them at cost. Like in the store they dont sell RF or Alpine R 15's but you can get them!!
well yeah, i said that they could probably get anything from the companies that they sell in the stores //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i thought that would be obvious though. i just still highly doubt that best buy has access to any other manufacturers that arent already in their store... it wouldnt make sense to not put them in the stores or make them available on the website.

kind of ironic that someone with your lack of an understanding of the english language is trying to make a claim that someone else cant read well...
i was seriously guessing you were 15 or 16 in high school by the way you spell and your lack of punctuation...

Oh yeah its about to get fun lmao!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yeah they would lose money just buy getting 1 or 2 special items form different manufacturers that they don't buy in bulk.

wasnt sure just thinking about the pdx amps from alpine anyone work that that actually knows specifically what they all have
hey bro, i work at best buy. The pdx amps both the 1.600 and the 4.100 retail for $500, with discount i get em for 250 a piece. The way the discount works is whatever best buy pays for the product plus 5%. You save the most on cables and accessories. Game consoles you save nothing on since best buy does not make much of a profit on the console it self, rather the accessories and games. Games like for the 360 you save 10-15 dollars per game. Cd's and dvds maybe 5 bucks or a little more. Car audio stuff you save the most, just bought my friend a $100 rockford fosgate 4 gauge amp kit for 30 bucks. Hope this helps.

WORD. It's funny how some of you don't realize that they can order LOTS of things, just because they don't stock it on the shelf doesn't mean they can't order it.

For the guy saying they buy in bulk so you won't get a deal blah blah... you're wrong. First off they buy in bulk but they're prices are based upon a dollar amount which in the end gives them what they call a multiplier which determines how much they pay for things. I had several friends that worked at BB and they all got decent discounts on HUs and accessories. Anyhow, it's not really worth it in the long run because they don't pay much at all.

i didnt feel like reading this entire thread,

but know that you can get discounts not only on what products they carry, but on most products made by companies they carry. This will allow you to buy Type X pro's, F#1 status gear, etc for 50% off. (alot cheaper than you will find online)

You also can get some decent home audio gear as Klipsch has an entire employee program (Some Denon gear applies also)

accomodations...........thats where its at
i kind of doubt that a store like best buy gets accomodation pricing.
