congrats u just called prolly a very large percentage of this forum a "dumbazz" LOTS of people (including myself) purchace products that they might not have heard... i got my 2 rlps in full confidence of being satisfied.... and i had never actually heard one when i got them.... same with my fronts never heard them before i got them still completly satisfid so YOU sir are an idiot for assuming that people are "dumbazzes" for buying products that they have never tried.

If you do enough research and read enough reviews, you can make very nice decisions when it comes to buying car audio without hearing it...

very true, but listening to certain product can give you a general idea of how it'll perform, theres a shop or 2 around here that do "setups" in a car they have in their show room, normally its the medium product they carry, but they do tend to throw the "best" they have....and its a pretty good display, be nice if more shops did that.

your a real class act aren't you? anybody dumb enough to buy a product without listening to it first is a dumbazz, tis why you drive around to local sound shops with a couple of subs in mind, then look for the best deal, and wheather they are authorized or not, any place that likes customers offers some sort of replacement warranty...even if the factory don't warrant it.

I bought my Rainbow Germaniums without first listening to them. Does that make me a dumbass? God ****, that sucks. At least i'm a dumbass who bought a set of Germaniums. Strange how they ended up being badass, just like i heard from other people who had heard them...oh wait, unless you hear something yourself you're a dumbass for buying it. After all, other peoples' experience is meaningless right? Especially when they have experience with 10 times as many speaker sets as i do. No...instead, i should go listen myself to the shit on some ****in' soundwall in cc or bestbuy and make my decision based on that. Cuz soundwalls are just like cars, and you gotta hear something for yourself or how else do you know if it's any good.

Apparently it's like Schrödinger's cat...all speakers sound good and bad and neither. Until YOU hear them. I dunno if i can handle car audio from the quantum mechanics side of things.
