It's a 1200W woofer? That's what I read for the newer models...Dual 4 ohm wired to 2 ohm
Have the model number of your boston amp?I haven't taken it out of the box to read what it says. It is the semi metallic silver color l7 15 everyone has been telling me 750rms
I too, have ran the apsm's, the 1000 watt one and the 2000 watt, they worked for what I needed at the time. Also ran a hifonics as well. I agree with you on the hifonics being the better 'budget' amp. Op, if you are patient, and do a lil research, may even have to bump up your budget a tad, you should be able to find what will work.for you, good luck, dude.ive bought and sold a couple usually around 60-80 bucks for a 1000-1500w ap/apsm.. ive ran em.. dont like too... but they get the job done if all else fails... i try to go hifonics if on a budget though... not much better but better... lol
Thanks man. Any EXP with either the clarion or ppi?I too, have ran the apsm's, the 1000 watt one and the 2000 watt, they worked for what I needed at the time. Also ran a hifonics as well. JBL makes nice stuff, have owned their amps as well. That JBL 1000EZ should be virtually identical in power output to the Cerwin Vega. I think with sonic there's like a 30 day money back guarantee. Worst case scenario, just send it back I guess.No. But as I said before, I do have exp with jbl ez amps.
ppi is above hifonics and audiopipe on quality IMO... clarion ive only ran 4 ch's and hu's... ANOTHER FAV. budget amp is MB Quartz DISCUS.... ppi stay away from sedona series... so power hungry...Thanks man. Any EXP with either the clarion or ppi?
I wouldn't, it would make less power at 2 ohms than the CV or the JBL. I'd just pull the trigger on the CV, especially if you can get it for like 170 or so.Ge that used SQ1200 that's f/s on here....
