best budget door speakers?

I'm looking to replace the door speakers in my truck, right now I'm running old pioneers in the rear doors and bose speakers from a gm car in the front. I'm running a sundown e12 with a sae-600d amp, my Hu is pioneer deh-8300 putting out a whooping 14 watts rms! Haha I really don't want to put in an amp beacuse I don't plan on spending more than 60 bucks a pair for speakers anyways. I've used pioneers in the past and liked them. I always hear good things about polk speakers to. that's about as far as my speaker knowledge goes, so What would you guys recommend?

best upgrade would be a component set ...that way you can mount the tweeters in a better spot so the highs dont get blocked by legs...the A pillar or sail panel are good tweeter locations ...

I haven't given to much tought into component speakers, is the gain in sound quality noticable to be worth the extra work? I do believe the speaker holes in my dash are empty, that would probably be a decemt spot to hide some tweeters.

The dash spot holds 4x6s...I built some fiberglass pods for that slot and put in a set of 4" Digital designs coaxials...but I also did fiberglass kick panels ...and have a set of fiberglass door panels setup for 4 6.5 mids ...

You are not going to get great sound/sq,or even loud and clean on any speaker off of HU power alone.Cranking the volume knob uo just to hear them, generally become severely distorted/clipped and become damaged speakers/goods.The only fairly decent sounding 6.5s Ive ren off HU power alone were a set of Polk DB 6.5s,and sound really nice on a min of 30 watts off of an amp up to 75watts,in which you could find an older gem off E-bay or from someone for around $40-60 bucks shipped(Alpine Duo-Bs,like the 3523,3522,3542,3548, will be a great used amp to place on any front stage without breaking the bank and clean some distortion up and get some cleaner sound and a little bit of power pretty cheap.Running components off HU power or any after market speaker generally result in failure do to clipping/distortion.

I have a.set of rockville 6x8 comps of off audiosavings.com for less than 50 bucks, on a alpine power pack amp, and the.actually do a fairly decent job keeping up with a bc2k on a set of tc.sounds 12s. The alpine amp fits behind the dash, is class d at 90 x 2, bridged to two channels. I have the tweets in the a pillar.

I wish I could fit an amp in my dash, I've got an s10 blazer and dash space is very limited. I really don't want to run all those speaker wires and another pair of rcas and power wire from all the way to the back of truck. Anyone put an amp under there front passenger seat??
