best break in technique

hey

just wondering what the best method was

1. gain to half of what it should be

2. take all the bass out of the deck (-12 bass) or w/e and keep gain at what it should be

3. set gains at what they should be and just play it at half volume

Dont brake it in, just hit it hard. Thats wut I am doing with my SE's, just got them yeturday, and I send a full 1000w to both together the first time I listened to them. Seems to work great.

break ins are usually unnecessary, every sub I've had I just bumped em up and they break in on their own time with no problems

Use your ears, the sub will tell you when its starting to stress (if you listen for it). If it starts to distort, turn it down. Usually you'll find this distortion point will move up over the first 1-3 weeks of use.
