best battery??

well im looking in to geting a battery for my trunk. im looking to spend around 150 dollers or so . im geting some volt drops down to 12.2 or so but thats around full tilt im getin the normal dimming to pretty much my lights are flashing. can some one help me with a battery for around 150 dollers.

Go to carquest and get a ngt extreme battery. They are relabeled Dekas

u got the same battery upfront i got the gold duralast 1000amp i think it is the biggest they make, and i got a zx1500 and zx 850.4 with a stinger spv70 in teh back and no dimming at full tilt at idle only drop to around 12.5 12.7 at the back battery, and i have no big 3 just pos and ground 1/0 from front to back

what stinger batt would u say would be good for the back? im running around 2000 rms with just one front batt big 3 and im seeing volt drop that kinda making me mad .lol

Now if you want to do it the RIGHT way, do the opposite of this. KR is not getting dimming because he is running an xplod 2 channel amp to his subs.

seriously dude i aint running that xplod anymore i did run that however to run one of the 12's when that was the only amp i had while i was waiting for my zx1500 to arrive i couldnt go bassless haha

i have a stock 70 amp alt. i just dont know what kind of power i wana run in this car. if lets say i stay with 2000 rms for a daily driver i dont wana go and buy a ho alt just for this set up. I am looking in to a truck some time down the road . so a big battery for the back could end up under the hood if that helps u guys.

your not gonna find a big batt for around $150 unless its used, well not even then. i think someone is selling some deka 31s for like $170

probly need to decide what size u want to get g51/g51r g34 g24 g27 or g31 g51/g51r

ive got a xs power d5100r which is the g51r under the hood, and im gonna get either the d3400 or d2400 from the back which is g34 and g24

call local battery places, not autozone, advanced, etc. but real battery places that specialize in batteries, someone around you probably carries Deka, I can net NEW G31's all day long across town for $170. Or get a NGT Extreme from CQ like said above.

edit- Deka pn is 9a31, my bad, the NGT pn is NG31

What underhood batt do you have? It may be old. I got my Deka 9A78DT across town for $130 out the door
