okay man, im sure i will... I got $560 in amps and wire to pay for this week... and here goes next week's check...
also, which Deka will be a nice smaller starter batt?

as shown in post #11 the g34 is a good one for that purpose. you can get the g34/78 if you got a GM

I've been VERY happy with the Deka's I run. Seems to be an excellent battery for the price...

I got talked into picking up the Optima Red Top, I was leaning towards the yellow when some guru's over at The12Volt talked me into the Red.

Anyway, the Deka's seem good, but you can get those optima yellow tops at 188 (how much I payed w/ 7% tax) a pop at Advance Auto.

Edit: The D34/78, not the 31.

i would question them lol ask alot of guys that have been into sound offs for more than 10 years most of them will avoid a red top like the plague lol

The dekas are just as good of a battery, if not better IMO than the yellow tops.

I wasn't saying anything about whether they are better or worse. I was just saying where you can find them for relatively cheap.

Deka it is!! but where is the cheapest company to get from? Remybattry has a nice price that i can live with.. u guys know of a cheaper and just as reliable source?

deka g31 from remybattery.
will work, awesome. my buddy has one in his explorer (also has a g34 deka in front). no problems and they hold up well.

about 180 or so shipped BNIB too

great battery. iirc they're simular to yellowtops right? just slightly cheaper. either way yellow tops are also great buys too. Get a g31 yellowtop off the forum if u can find one in great condition. should run about 160ish

i wouldnt say they are slightly cheaper. the g31 dekas are $143 BNIB. you just gotta pay for shipping. i always say they are about $180 because its about $36 to ship to southern california.

g34 yellow tops are $180 locally. id rather have a deka g31 with 2x the ratings for the same price (including shipping). not downing the yellow tops at all, as ive never had any experience with them, and neither have my friends. eveything ive read about them is in positive light. im just going from a cost stand point.
