Best battery, dollar for dollar...?

What are some options for the best dollar for dollar battery? Im looking to add one to my setup, but not looking to go crazy and spend like 250 on a hc2400.

a fellow at the battery place where i got my batteries said the deka 9a31 is the same batt as a northstar nsb90. the universal ub121000 gel cells are nice for the money.

Can all of these be used as the vehicle's primary battery? For instance, I see that Powermaster makes a D2700 and D3100 that look suitable for the main battery, just wanting to make sure.

Mount an extra battery in the trunk. Get a Deka, as mentioned, if you have the cash (around $230) get an Optima.

I have 4 blue tops in my boat, actually thinking about stealing one out of it.

You could also get a big marine rated battery from Walmart for like $70 and use that.

ive had the same svr in my truck for allmost 5 year's now.. awsome batt..
