hey man i have a sundown 125.2 and a pair of ID ctx65 components. they are an amazing pair. sundown is selling the 125.2 for 200 shipped and the ID components can be had for 180 from sonicelectronix. that would put you right at your budged and i can tell you that this combination has definitely treated me well thus far. i would consider looking into it if you are looking for very good sound within your price range.

For your front stage i like what was mentioned above about the Image Dynamics CTX comp set. They sound very nice and clean.

I have never used or heard what a sundown can do in person so i'm going to suggest an alpine mrp-f600. they are 4 channel amps and put out 100x4@4ohms which for you i feel would be perfect and leaves you room to expand in the future. this amp can be had for around 230-250 on ebay. and the comp set can be had for 180 so this puts you right around your budget at 410.

also you may want to add another 100 and buy some sound deadener. believe me you wont regret that
