I had Infinity 6.5s for a couple years, and the RSDs I heard blew them away.

How are RE comps/coaxs? They have higher ratings then the RSDs, but not sure how they sound.

i guess i dont know about bass from infinity because i have all my speakers ran on crossovers.

The Infinitys I had were ok, but the stock ones in my Rogue kill them in mid-range. Im looking for a good mid-range in the back, and a good set for highs in the front that also can do some mid-range.

The RE 6x9s are 3.5in mounting, so probably wouldnt fit.

With custom baffles there is over 7in of depth, so I guess I'm going to go with the PGs. Before I do, how are planet audios current line up? Can get 6x9s and 6.5s for under $100.

I think I have it narrowed down to two options. Go cheap with RSD 6x9s in front, and RSD 6.5s in back, $80 shipped for all. Or if its worth it, go with these 6.5 Silver Flutes for mid bass in the back doors,

and either the RSD 6x9s in front ($45), or the RE Audio 6x9s ($65). Someone around here said the RE coaxs have really good highs, just not much midbass, but with the Silver Flutes covering that, I think they would work out well. Anyone know if the RSDs have good highs as well? The RSDs are $20 cheaper then the REs.

I'll give Infinity its due.. people say they lack in midrange and bass, and super bright scratchy high's.. Infinity now offers the -3Db to help clear up the highs..

You have to spend hella amounts of time tuning your system to get them sounding just right..

But i'd just rather go to the better stuff at JBL.. slightly different but you can actually hear the difference.
