Best Available 8" Sub w/ shallow mounting depth

I am searching for a 8" sub for behind the seat of a 2000 Regular Cab Chevy pickup. I only have about 6" behind the seat and that is only to a height of about 9", the depth continues to narrow to about 3" at a height of 18".

I think I need a sub with a mounting depth

I have researched a lot of 8" subs and I am losing my mind. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Subs like the Jl 8w7 and the DD1508 have a bit to large a mounting depth.

I have tried to research many other subs and I find many are unavailable, too deep or I have trouble finding specs.

I have found the jl audio 8w3v3(md=4.63") or Elemental Designs e3.8(md=4.375") that I could make work.

My desire is to add some good solid low end to my system. SQ is most important but hey I would like to also get as high SPL as I can for a shallow 8". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I do not have an amp yet but I will most likely be running about 250Watts to it.

Also, this is for a work truck, so I don't want to break the bank. I am shooting for around $100. Less expensive and high quality would be great. I would welcome any opinions on the 8w3v3, the e3.8 or on any other subs you may be aware of that meet my criteria.

give one of these a shot. Only about 30$. They are some rebadged vifa drivers from PE from the looks of it. I bought some and am very impressed.
