Best Amplifier for 12inch Alpine Type X

im on here just to see what i should work with.

I just bought an Alpine type X 12 inch sub. It is currently in a ported box and im looking for the perfect amp. Heres what im thinking

Electrical is all set, soon getting new power wire. 4gauge most likely.

I'm almost set on the HFi3000D, I've been reading and I should be around 1000-1500rms at 2ohms. This is right on the spot. what do you think?

you'll need 0 gauge for that amp.and also if you have the cash i'd go with a better amp too

all type X i believe are 4ohm. what do you guys think about the HiFonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D im leaning more towards this now and could I get by with a 4 gauge power?

Why are you thinking of buying a 3000w amp for that sub? Complete overkill...

I wouldn't even trust that sub with 1kW. I'd look in the 5-700w range and save yourself the trouble of spending a bunch of $$$ on electrical and save the coil from an early death.

I'm looking to spend around 200, which is what the brz costs.

I really would like to go with the brutus series. if the 1700 isnt enough, should I go for the 2100, or the 2400 (budget is now under 300)

if you are only running run, and want to stick with alpine i would get the mrp m1000 i always liked mine... or maybe the m12 or pdx 1000.1

Im thinking I may go with the brz2100 for some head room, I've heard good things about the brutus series and they are the same price, brutus just offers more power.
