I happen to have 2 se's with the MD1D that you mentioned and they sound great it's always nice to match brands too.
Right, so for the power cable i use the same size fuse as the one on the amp?
will do man.Use the largest gauge wire that the blocks on the amp will accept into them. Then find out what the wire's amperage rating is, and put that rating of a fuse at the beginning of the wire closest to the battery. This way if the wire's amperage rating is ever exceeded, the fuse fails and not the wire melting the insulator and ****ing up your car big time.
As far as amps go, the AQ1200 is a solid choice. You could also go Hifonics. They are a tad overrated, not gonna lie, so get a little more than you need, but they are cheap as balls and pretty **** reliable.
