best amp to run for 2 12" RE SE subs.

Right, so for the power cable i use the same size fuse as the one on the amp?

Use the largest gauge wire that the blocks on the amp will accept into them. Then find out what the wire's amperage rating is, and put that rating of a fuse at the beginning of the wire closest to the battery. This way if the wire's amperage rating is ever exceeded, the fuse fails and not the wire melting the insulator and ****ing up your car big time.

As far as amps go, the AQ1200 is a solid choice. You could also go Hifonics. They are a tad overrated, not gonna lie, so get a little more than you need, but they are cheap as balls and pretty **** reliable.

they are going in an extended cab f150, i couldn't run 15's if i wanted to.

i got my 2 rese 12's with sundown sae1200d in a 2 cft sealed box ran with 1/0 ga big 3 . 1/0ga power and ground . big 3 300 anm anl and amp power 300a anl with 1/0ga . a hc800 kinetik in the rear with 1/0ga from it to the sundown . with 10ga speaker wire all wires ofc and soldered on copper terminals with shrink tape and split loom on any wire that isnt inside the vehicle . also usint 2 stinger 1ga self tightening firewall grommets forthe power and ground.

I give mine 800 ea daily. No problems yet.
