^^ if 40.1s werent strappable then that completely changes my mind about the company. If you cant strap two of the same companys amp models together to create an explosion then what can you do!

yes, they can be strapped. i ran my pr strapped at .8 before box rise(burped). very solid amps

Alrighty, i've decided that I want to go with 1 amp instead of 2 40.1's for several reasons. So what would you guys reccomend as the best bang for the buck to put out 8k watts?

Looks? Maybe...

Ratings at higher voltage

Suggestions? So far I like the Stetsom 7kd, but theres a lot of good amps.

Why, keep at 14v, 1 40.1 would do 7800-8000 at 18v.
