Best amp to put out 8k?

Alrighty, i've decided that I want to go with 1 amp instead of 2 40.1's for several reasons. So what would you guys reccomend as the best bang for the buck to put out 8k watts?

Keep in mind-

Price (would like to keep below 1500 if possible)

Footprint size

Current Draw

Looks? Maybe...

Ratings at higher voltage

Suggestions? So far I like the Stetsom 7kd, but theres a lot of good amps.
