best 8" subs

i got a friend with a porsche that is gonna do 3 8" subs (2 10"s wont fit). any opinions on who makes the best subs in this size? RE? JL W3?

3 will yield a odd ohm load. Why do people insist on running 3 subs when 2 will work just fine???

2 10"s in a ported box will fit, iv seen it done and look completly stock. but my vote is for the JL 8w7

My buddy has a pair of the 8W7's ported in his Audi A4 and they sound amazing. I have not heard the others so I can't comment. I am looking into the Kodas for myself though either the 10's or 8's if that helps.

I was running a koda8 sealed in my trunk for a while off 230watts, sounded nice but not nearly loud enough. Now I have a koda 10 ported off the same power and it is crazy good!!

my friend has a 911, and he said a 10 would be too big.

if he can fit it, i think hes gonna try for 2 8"s ported.

otherwise, do the recomendations remain the same for 8s sealed?
