Best 8" subs?

This is my EPIC 8" which is basically identical to the TC-1000 and Rl-I. The sound quality of this driver is phenomenal.

I talked to DD who said they have had some ppl give good feedback going from a W7 8" to thier 1508. He said my enclosure will work but he recommends I tune it up to 40hz. Little worried about this as I am going for more of an SQL setup. I thought a port tuned that high is for mostly SPL? They are going to give me some prices also. The RL-i 8" I will have to call and talk to soundsplinter about as well. I talked to them about this sub years back before I got the W7 and they were worried about the amount of power I was going to throw at it.

DD's are built a little different then Most subs. The DD wont have any problems dropping to 30hz. When they break in you can drop the tunning to your liking.
