SSA or SS.com should have them in, an Orphan 8 would be nice as well, Eclipse 8708 or 8808, ground zero hydrogen 8where you gonna get a rli-8
What are these like? Obviously they are more SPL based, but can they sound good for daily use while still of course getting loud?lol, Not a single mention of a True Bass 8" Ultra?
.8net @ 32Hz is nice, 1cube @ 30Hz will surely make you smile
$100 shipped BNIB, you pick the color of the dust cap and logo. Woofers built to order.
I have used them for many installs, 1 in 1cube net @ 40Hz did 131 @ headrest/termlab 600rms before rise music, 141dB kick/termlab 44Hz burp

They are geared for daily, but do great spl, lol. notice that in 1 cube @ 32Hz the dips and peaks are compensating to average cabin gains and losses. My Scion gains a lil around 42-44Hz and loses around a few dB's around 30Hz. I have not heard a single complaint from one being run properly enclosed, powered and filtered. Modsqwod can give some pointers on them as well, He ordered a custom set from me, as did a few others and alot of locals. I ran them forever till finally friends and locals talked me out of all the ones I had in use. I still have a 10" and I will be ordering some new color scheme 8's before long. I will probably be putting them on here and caco if they don't get bought before I can post them. TB's are among the nicest 8's in production, each one is hand built by James Carroll and thoroughly tested before leaving his shop. Some places retail them as high as $150. I am personal friends with James and I make no money from selling them, I just help him get the TB logo more recognized. I have used alot of subs in my 17 years at this, and for the price, I have never found a more capable woofer. Sound_Around or Tristanmay, SoloXKID, and Manny over on CACO all have extensive experience with true bass as well and they would be resources for outside opinions on TB. I am not biased towards them as much as it seems, I personally prefer LMT drivers but a True Bass is a sub that I intend on having a few spares of laying around because no matter what system I currently have installed I seem to always end up using TB again, lol. The Transience on the 10" Ultra is second to none, and the 8" Thinks its a 12, lol. My pair of 10" in 1.5 per @ 35Hz daily driver averaged 142 @ the headrest on TL with 700 watts per. the 8's seem a lil more natural sounding but not as tight and punchy (128g mms on the 10's with a BL of 27TM), they also roll off a little slower than the 10"s on the low end. What are these like? Thanks for taking the time to give a great response. I don't wanna thread jack, so would you take a look at my thread thats like 4 below this asking about 4 6.5's vs 2 8's?
