It would be cool to see what can be accomplished with a couple of cheap Infinity subwoofers as they're not discussed much. If SQ is a big factor though, I'd suggest to look at Alpine R 8s. One predictor of SQ is inductance. The R8s have inductive treatment, and very low inductance, under 1mH. The Infinity Reference >3mH. The cost a bit more though. $89 is the cheapest I see online right now.

Personally I would pick up a couple of those DDs from mylows10. 100bucks each is a pretty good price. I prefered my DD over my SA8s in every way.

Agree! Although I've never had dd's I've read the take a pounding.

They do I'm running 4 on 2200 rms under my rear seat in a Frankenstein box I made ported at 33 hertz and they pound hard ,also hit the lows very well . Only reason for selling them is that the new vfl 8's will be out this week and bob is making me an offer I can't refuse on 4 of them
